Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s)

Sustainability as defined in the 17 UN SDGs is attributed with a core importance in the PalletBiz discussions and communications regarding sustainable development. We have, therefore, selected those SDGs where we can actively contribute as a cooperation and a network; but by being active on those, we will passively contribute toward the “unselected” SDGs as well.

Our Annual Sustainability Report aims to cut through that noise, providing clear, factual insights into our progress and the work still to be done. This first report is a transparent reflection of our achievements and gaps, acknowledging that while we lead in some areas, there’s much to improve.

IFUA Award

The Global Sustainability Department of PalletBiz submitted a study on applied corporate sustainability within the context of the organization – operating in the industrial packaging sector – as an application to the IFUA Green Controlling Award – and we are delighted to announce that PalletBiz was awarded the prize for our outstanding strategic solution! The study delineates the overall perspective of PalletBiz on (corporate) sustainability, while highlighting the importance of a strategic approach towards the concept; as having a well thought-out, planned, and structured agenda has been proven to be the only method that has the potential to pave the way towards real sustainable development of an organization.
