PalletBiz Romania, our first franchisee, recently opened its brand new production plant in Prejmer Industrial Park as a part of significant production capacity expansion plan of PalletBiz. This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and was implemented with the support of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2: improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The grand opening, held on June 20, brought together key figures including the company’s board members, local authorities, customers, suppliers, partners, and project builders. The event served as a milestone to celebrate PalletBiz’ achievements and ambitious future plans.
The Prejmer Plant: A Hub for Opportunity
With a total value of 20,000,000 lei or approx. 4 000 000 EUR, the project commenced in December 2021 and culminated in its completion at the end of 2023. Bogdan Manole, the Managing Director of PalletBiz Romania, emphasizes the project’s significance in a recent article in “Capital”, an influential business magazine in Romania: “We want to make an essential contribution to the production sector of wooden pallets and packaging, but also to be present in the local community. Thus, we will create more than 30 jobs, which will ensure the production of approximately 20,000 packaging products per month. All this will significantly improve our presence on the market, building with a solid foundation, the competitiveness of PalletBiz Romania products.”
A Diverse Product Portfolio
PalletBiz Romania portfolio will be even more diversified by utilizing the capability of the new site. It is going to offer a comprehensive range of packaging solutions to cater to various customer needs:
- Wooden collars for Pallets: pallet collars (frames) optimize storage space and offer a ten-year lifespan with proper handling. Available for Euro-pallets, half-pallets, and special pallets, all frames are heat-treated according to ISPM 15 standards. PalletBiz also manufactures accessories like corners, lids, and dividers for these frames.
- Wooden Packaging: PalletBiz offers high-quality wooden pallet packaging in diverse sizes and configurations, ensuring secure storage and transportation of goods. Customization options are available to meet specific needs. This range includes not only pallets but also special wooden boxes, shipping boxes, and wooden crates, all designed for maximum strength and durability.
- OSB & Plywood Boxes: PalletBiz provides a variety of OSB and plywood boxes, ideal for packing and transporting goods. These boxes are available in various sizes and configurations, guaranteeing high quality and customization possibilities.
PalletBiz caters to both Euro and non-Euro pallet needs, with all pallets heat-treated according to IPPC ISPM-15 standards. Additionally, PalletBiz offers metal packaging solutions for delicate or heavy items.
With over 2 decades of experience, PalletBiz provides a complete suite of services for efficient pallet management, including:
- Certified repairs for Euro pallets and other pallet types
- Sorting and exchange of pallets at customer locations
- Delivery of new or refurbished pallets
- Purchase of used pallets no longer needed by customers
